The Grizzlies announced Saturday that Ja Morant has been diagnosed with a posterior hip subluxation and is considered week-to-week.
Morant was injured during Wednesday’s win over the Lakers. The injury is a posterior hip subluxation and multiple Grade 1 pelvic muscle strains, with the good news being there was no dislocation. With Marcus Smart also out due to injury, Scotty Pippen Jr. must be rostered wherever he’s available.

Ja’Kobe Walter provided a boost off the bench with 19 points (6-of-12 FGs), one rebound, two assists and three 3-pointers against New York on Monday.
The rookie hasn’t been a consistent producer so far, but he was able to make a big impact in this game. He set a new career-high for both points and 3-pointers in just 22 minutes off the bench. Walter was drafted for his shooting ability, so it was encouraging to see him get back on track after he failed to make a 3-pointer in three straight games prior to this one. Scottie Barnes exited early with what the team has said is an ankle injury, and if he misses time, Walter may see extra shots and minutes.
  • TOR Small Forward #9
RJ Barrett led Toronto with 30 points (13-of-24 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in a 113-108 loss to the Knicks on Monday.
Playing against his former team, Barrett reminded them of just how good he can be as a scorer. This was his seventh 30-point game of the year, and he was able to chip in value in other categories as well. This was the second time that he has played against New York since they traded him last year, and he scored 20 points in a blowout loss last season. This was a nice bounce back performance for him after he only scored 18 points in their last game. The Raptors will play their next game in Miami on Thursday.
  • NYK Small Forward #25
Mikal Bridges lit up the Raptors with 23 points (9-of-14 FGs), three rebounds, three assists, one steal and five 3-pointers on Monday.
Bridges has been a consistent player for the Knicks this year, but on a loaded squad, he hasn’t gotten the chance to pop often. This was one of his best games in the box score this season, as he had his second-highest output of both points and 3-pointers. Bridges has been a top-100 player in 9-cat leagues, but one of the main reasons that he isn’t ranked higher is his career-worst 61.9% shooting from the free throw line. However, that hasn’t impacted fantasy teams as much as his 9-cat value suggests, since he has only averaged 0.9 per game this year.
  • NYK Point Guard #11
Jalen Brunson recorded a double-double on Monday with 20 points (7-of-13 FGs), four rebounds, 11 assists and four 3-pointers against Toronto.
Brunson is having the best playmaking season of his career, which is what they needed him to do with the talent they added this summer. He has thrived in that role, and he recorded his seventh double-double of the year on Monday after having a total of nine last season. Brunson didn’t have a big scoring night against the Raptors, but his numbers aren’t that much lower than last season despite seeing an expected drop in usage. His 7.8 assists per game are a career-high, and they have helped him have another top-50 season in 9-cat leagues to this point.
  • NYK Power Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns stuffed the stat sheet on Monday with 24 points (7-of-13 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), 15 rebounds, six assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in a 113-18 win over Toronto.
After missing their last game with a knee issue, KAT did a bit of everything in the box score in this game, and he came up huge for the Knicks. He hit two triples in this game, with the second one coming with six seconds left in the game to put them up five points. The play before, he hit a layup to give them a lead with 36 seconds remaining. Towns has had a spectacular first season in New York, and he has returned to being one of the best players in fantasy basketball. They’ll look for that dominance to continue on Wednesday with Atlanta coming to town.
  • TOR Small Forward #4
Scottie Barnes (right ankle sprain) exited early on Monday but still finished with 15 points (5-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, three assists and three 3-pointers against New York.
Barnes came down on Karl-Anthony Towns’ foot in the third quarter and was reportedly seen repeating “I can’t feel my foot”. The team is calling it an ankle sprain, but that reaction isn’t promising. Barnes already missed an extended period of time earlier this season with an eye injury, and now there is a chance that he is sidelined for a bit with this ankle issue. Rookie Jonathan Mogbo entered the game in his place, though they’ll also need to rely on Davion Mitchell for playmaking, since Barnes had been playing the point guard role with Immanuel Quickley still sidelined with an elbow injury. Barnes will be re-evaluated on Tuesday, which will provide a better timeline for his return.
  • MIL Small Forward #7
Chris Livingston (left ankle sprain) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Magic.
Livingston has played less than 10 total minutes this season, so his absence won’t impact fantasy basketball.
  • DAL Point Guard #10
Brandon Williams (right thumb sprain) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against Oklahoma City.
Williams hasn’t seen the floor since November 19th and has yet to play more than six minutes in a game. His absence won’t impact the team’s rotation.
  • OKC Point Guard #14
Adam Flagler (right fourth metacarpal fracture) will be re-evaluated in four to six weeks.
Flagler will be sidelined until January, but he hasn’t played a consistent role for the Thunder this season. His absence won’t have an impact on the team’s rotation.
  • NYK Power Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns (right patellar tedninopathy) has been cleared to play against Toronto on Monday and will start alongside Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges.
KAT missed their last game, which allowed Jericho Sims to start in his place. Precious Achiuwa and Airel Hukporti also played extended minutes off the bench, but with KAT back none of them will play enough of a role to provide any real fantasy value.
