There have been concerns about how many 3-pointers he has taken, and 16 of his 29 attempts in this game were from beyond the arc. However, the results look really, really good when he gets hot. He’s been on fire over their last three games and is averaging 36.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 4.3 blocks and 6.7 triples per game during that stretch. If there were any concerns about his play, those can be laid to rest.

The rookie hasn’t been a consistent producer so far, but he was able to make a big impact in this game. He set a new career-high for both points and 3-pointers in just 22 minutes off the bench. Walter was drafted for his shooting ability, so it was encouraging to see him get back on track after he failed to make a 3-pointer in three straight games prior to this one. Scottie Barnes exited early with what the team has said is an ankle injury, and if he misses time, Walter may see extra shots and minutes.

Playing against his former team, Barrett reminded them of just how good he can be as a scorer. This was his seventh 30-point game of the year, and he was able to chip in value in other categories as well. Brunson is having the best playmaking season of his career, which is what they needed him to do with the talent they added this summer. He has thrived in that role, and he recorded his seventh double-double of the year on Monday after having a total of nine last season. Brunson didn’t have a big scoring night against the Raptors, but his numbers aren’t that much lower than last season despite seeing an expected drop in usage. His 7.8 assists per game are a career-high, and they have helped him have another top-50 season in 9-cat leagues to this point.

After missing their last game with a knee issue, KAT did a bit of everything in the box score in this game, and he came up huge for the Knicks. He hit two triples in this game, with the second one coming with six seconds left in the game to put them up five points. The play before, he hit a layup to give them a lead with 36 seconds remaining. Towns has had a spectacular first season in New York, and he has returned to being one of the best players in fantasy basketball. They’ll look for that dominance to continue on Wednesday with Atlanta coming to town.

Barnes came down on Karl-Anthony Towns’ foot in the third quarter and was reportedly seen repeating “I can’t feel my foot”. The team is calling it an ankle sprain, but that reaction isn’t promising. Barnes already missed an extended period of time earlier this season with an eye injury, and now there is a chance that he is sidelined for a bit with this ankle issue. Rookie Jonathan Mogbo entered the game in his place, though they’ll also need to rely on Davion Mitchell for playmaking, since Barnes had been playing the point guard role with Immanuel Quickley still sidelined with an elbow injury. Barnes will be re-evaluated on Tuesday, which will provide a better timeline for his return.

Livingston has played less than 10 total minutes this season, so his absence won’t impact fantasy basketball.
