Norman Powell (left hamstring strain) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against Minnesota.
Powell will miss a sixth straight game, which should allow Amir Coffey to get another start. Coffey hasn’t been productive over his last three starts, but he should continue to play a significant role in place of Powell.

Keegan Murray logged 40 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Rockets, finishing with 13 points (5-of-11 FGs), six rebounds, one assist, three blocks, and three 3-pointers.
  • SAC Power Forward #11
Domantas Sabonis tallied 27 points (13-of-19 FGs, 1-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, and four assists in 32 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Rockets.
  • SAC Point Guard #5
De’Aaron Fox shot 9-of-19 from the field in Tuesday’s 120-111 win over Houston, amassing 22 points, six rebounds, seven assists, three steals, one block, and four 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
  • SAC Shooting Guard #0
Malik Monk finished Tuesday’s win over Houston with 17 points (5-of-10 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, 12 assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes.
  • GSW Point Guard #30
Stephen Curry recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 24 points (8-of-23 FGs), seven rebounds, 11 assists, four 3-pointers and five turnovers in a 119-115 loss to Denver.
Curry took on some extra playmaking responsibilities in this game with Draymond Green sidelined, and while it hurt his efficiency, he was able to set a new season-high for assists. It was a nice boost for him, though he has shot the ball poorly during this five-game losing streak, which has really hurt his recent production. He’ll have a chance to get back on track with Houston coming to town to play on Thursday, which is the first night of a back-to-back. Keep an eye on Curry’s status, as he could sit out due to the bilateral knee issue that he has been managing.
  • GSW Power Forward #00
Jonathan Kuminga got the start on Tuesday and contributed 19 points (9-of-18 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer against the Nuggets.
With Draymond Green sidelined for this game with a calf injury, Kuminga made his return to the starting unit. This was his second start in their last three games, and he was productive in both. His role has been inconsistent and frustrating, which has made his season rather disappointing for fantasy managers. The Warriors have a back-to-back coming up on Thursday and Friday, so even if Draymond is back for one of them, it’s unlikely that he plays in both. That should mean at least one more start for Kuminga.
  • GSW Center #5
Kevon Looney posted a full line on Tuesday with five points (2-of-3 FGs), 11 rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block against Denver.
Trayce Jackson-Davis has been Golden State’s starting center for most of the year, but Looney got the nod in this game and took advantage. He was able to stuff the stat sheet before fouling out in the final two minutes. If this is a change that sticks, Looney may be able to provide some value in deeper formats, though he shouldn’t be considered a reliable option. There’s also a chance that this was just to have a better passer in the starting lineup with Draymond out or to match up better with Nikola Jokic.
  • MEM Point Guard #12
Ja Morant led Memphis with 31 points (11-of-22 FGs), two rebounds, four assists, three steals, three 3-pointers and six turnovers in a 121-116 loss to Dallas on Tuesday.
Morant did what he could to prevent the Grizzlies’ from blowing their lead, but it wasn’t enough. He scored 15 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter, yet Memphis still couldn’t hang on to a 15-point lead early in the fourth quarter. Still, it was encouraging to see Morant set a new season-high for scoring, even if their six-game win streak came to an end. They still have three more games this week, which will give Morant plenty of chances to continue to fill up the box score.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #22
Desmond Bane posted a full line on Tuesday with 19 points (8-of-14 FGs), three rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers against the Mavericks.
After a few poor performances in a row, Bane has started to get back on track over their last two games. He has scored at least 15 in each of their last two after going three straight games with less than 10 points. Bane’s numbers are still way down in comparison to his last few seasons, but the buy-low window is starting to close. He is back to seeing a full workload after a seven-game absence with an oblique injury, and his numbers should continue to improve. We’ll see if he can keep it going against the Kings on Thursday.
  • MEM Power Forward #7
Santi Aldama provided a boost off the bench with 15 points (7-of-8 FGs), eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one triple against Dallas on Tuesday.
Aldama’s run as part of the starting unit is over, but that hasn’t limited his production. He has been able to contribute well-rounded numbers all year, and he has been on fire over their last few games, as he has made over 60% of his shots in three straight games and at least 50% in five straight. Aldama is having the best season of his career, and he’ll continue to shine as one of the Grizzlies’ best players, even if he is stuck in a bench role.
