Deandre Ayton stuffed the stat sheet on Monday with 25 points (9-of-22 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), 20 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in a 121-119 overtime win over the Suns.
Portland has now won eight of their last nine games, and Ayton has been a big reason for that. He has scored at least 20 points in five straight games, and this was the fourth 20/20 of his career and his first as a Blazer. He led his team to two straight wins over the team that selected him with the No. 1 overall pick in 2018, and they’re now just 4.5 games out of the Play-In Tournament. They may not make the postseason this year, but their recent success may discourage them from pulling the plug at the deadline again. If they make a push, Ayton should continue to put up excellent numbers.

Terry Rozier finished Friday’s loss to Brooklyn with 20 points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal, a block and four triples across 31 minutes.
For the second straight game, Rozier led the bench in scoring and in this one, he led all scorers. Rozier stroked 4-of-8 shots from beyond the arc, and he’s now hit 7-of-15 combined over his last two. Tyler Herro shot a pitiful 6-of-22, and Duncan Robinson shot 4-of-11. The two combined to score just 20 points on 33 shots, and Rozier’s timely scoring was Miami’s lone bright spot on offense. With Jimmy Butler gone and a dearth of scorers on the roster, it will be up to guys like Rozier to put the ball in the basket for the rest of the season.
  • SAS Power Forward #10
Jeremy Sochan recorded a double-double on Friday with 11 points (4-of-8 FGs), 12 rebounds, two assists against Charlotte.
Sochan’s production has been limited since being moved to a reserve role, but he was able to record his first double-double since December in this game. His last few games have been more productive than his previous four, but he still isn’t playing enough to provide standard league value. Sochan is more than capable of being an excellent fantasy option, but his situation hasn’t allowed for that, and the addition of De’Aaron Fox only makes it harder for Sochan. He still holds plenty of value in dynasty leagues, but he isn’t as valuable in redraft formats.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley dropped 27 points Friday in a win over Washington, adding seven rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block across 34 minutes.
Mobley posted a monster 30/9/7 line in Wednesday’s win over Detroit, and he stayed hot on offense Friday. Mobley delivered at least 27 points for the second straight game, finishing behind only Donovan Mitchell (33) for team lead in the scoring department. The big man will do battle with a jumbo Timberwolves frontcourt Monday when Cleveland is back in action.
  • SAS Point Guard #4
De’Aaron Fox posted a strong line on Friday with 22 points (9-of-17 FGs), two rebounds, six assists, four steals and two 3-pointers against the Hornets.
In his debut for the Spurs on Wednesday, they went to Fox, the reigning Clutch Player of the Year, with the game on the line. Though they won that game, he wasn’t the one that hit the big shots. They went back to him in this one, and he hit a shot to tie the game with 42 seconds left and another to give them a lead with eight seconds remaining in the fourth. After Miles Bridges hit a 3-pointer with a second left in the game, Fox drilled another 3-pointer that would’ve won the game, but he got it off after the buzzer. It was still a strong night for Fox, and it’s clear that he’ll continue to be an excellent fantasy option despite the change in scenery.
  • WAS Power Forward #22
Richaun Holmes finished with 12 points, 12 boards, three assists and a block across 31 minutes Friday in a 134-124 loss to the Cavaliers.
Holmes started Wednesday and posted a 9/5/3 line across 27 minutes. He was a bit better in this one, posting his first double-double since March 25 of last year. Alex Sarr is still sidelined, and Washington traded away its center depth at the deadline, so Holmes could see meaningful minutes down the stretch. If Sarr is out Saturday, Holmes could draw his third start in four days and would be worth streaming for center-needy fantasy managers.
  • SAS Shooting Guard #5
Stephon Castle provided a boost off the bench on Friday with 33 points (10-of-15 FGs, 10-of-11 FTs), four rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers in a 117-116 loss to Charlotte.
Castle was the odd man out who was forced to the bench when the Spurs traded for De’Aaron Fox. He only had 11 points in that game, but he bounced back in a big way against Charlotte, setting a new career-high for points. He’s had a handful of 20-point games, but this was his first time surpassing the 30-point mark. It seemed like the arrival of Fox would eliminate most of Castle’s fantasy value, but he proved in this game that he may be worth keeping rostered for now.
  • CLE Shooting Guard #45
Donovan Mitchell compiled 33 points, a rebound, five assists, two steals and four triples across 34 minutes in Friday’s win over the Wizards.
Spida returned from a one-game absence to post his second straight 30-point game and seventh in his last 11 outings. Mitchell has been a prolific scorer over the last three weeks, averaging over 28 points per game in that span to go with four rebounds and six assists. After a slow start to the season, Mitchell has turned things on and is ranked 13th in per-game fantasy value since January 18. Cleveland will get the weekend off before taking the court again Monday to face Minnesota.
  • WAS Shooting Guard #13
Jordan Poole finished Friday’s loss to Cleveland with a career-best 45 points (16-of-32 FG) to go with four rebounds, five assists, a steal and four triples.
Volume was the name of the game for Poole, who attempted a season-high 32 field goals on his way to a career-high 45 points. Poole came into the third quarter with 29 points before going off in the fourth for 16 more as he caught fire late to try and keep Washington competitive with one of the league’s best teams. Poole scored just 44 points over his last three games combined before delivering this monster effort. He’ll look to keep it going Saturday when the Wizards host the Hawks.
  • WAS Power Forward #16
Anthony Gill (ankle) will not return to Friday’s matchup with Cleveland.
Gill’s night is over after playing just six minutes due to a right ankle sprain. He hasn’t played a large role for Washington this season, but Tristan Vukcevic should see a few extra minutes down the stretch.
  • LAC Small Forward #3
MarJon Beauchamp will be available to play against the Jazz on Saturday.
Beauchamp will be able so suit up for the Clippers for the first time since he was traded to Los Angeles on Thursday. He was never ever to carve out a role with the Bucks, but he’ll look to reverse his fortunes with the Clippers. However, there is no reason to consider rostering him as of now.
