Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports Stephen Curry (hamstring) went through a workout ahead of Saturday’s loss to the Timberwolves but did not go full speed.
Game 3 on Saturday was the second straight contest Curry has missed after straining his left hamstring during Game 1. While he did some shooting and rode the exercise bike during Saturday’s workout, the Warriors guard has yet to do anything at full speed. Given the scheduling in the second round, the hope is that Golden State can pick up a win and extend the series to Game 6, which falls on May 18, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. With Curry sidelined, Jonathan Kuminga entered the rotation, finishing Game 3 with 30 points, six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and three three-pointers in 36 minutes off the bench.
