We’ll take a look at the three-game Thanksgiving slate of Week 12. Lineups lock at 12:30 ET on Thursday.
QUARTERBACK
Josh Allen - Buffalo (at New Orleans)
You could argue that Allen has underachieved in two of his last three games. Still, it’s hard to deny that he’s one of the best fantasy quarterbacks in the game. The Bills’ offense flows through him without much input from the running backs. That should continue to be the case in this road matchup at New Orleans, who has allowed the 11th most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Needless to say, Allen is my preferred cash game signal-caller on this Thanksgiving slate.

RUNNING BACK
David Montgomery - Chicago (at Detroit)
Montgomery has been somewhat mediocre over his last two games, but I’m expecting him to pick things up on Thursday. It’s hard to not have optimism in a matchup at Detroit, who has allowed the third-most fantasy points to running backs this season. If you recall, Montgomery went for 23 fantasy points against the Lions last month. I’m expecting the Chicago RB to get 20-25 touches with a chance at a touchdown or two. He’s a no-brainer on this slate.
D’Andre Swift - Detroit (vs. Chicago)
Swift has hit his stride while racking up 130+ rushing yards in his last two games. He’s still an integral part of the passing game too, so game flow doesn’t really matter. Swift is easily the best skill player for Detroit’s offense, and it would be a travesty if he didn’t get at least 20 touches. I’m a believer in his recent hotstreak, and the uptick in production should spill into this Thanksgiving matchup vs. Chicago.

WIDE RECEIVER
Stefon Diggs - Buffalo (at New Orleans)
I’m all about the Allen-Diggs stack on this slate. In order to make that happen, you could look towards some of the other bargain receivers listed in this article. Taking a guy like Dallas RB Tony Pollard in your FLEX spot helps create cap space too. Diggs is coming off his worst yardage total (23) in a long time, but he also came through with a pair of scores (16 FP) in that contest. Now he’ll face a New Orleans team that has allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to WRs this season.
Deonte Harris - New Orleans (vs. Buffalo)
Harris is operating as a third wide receiver for the Saints. However, New Orleans likes to spread the ball around, so he could see just as many looks as Marquez Callaway and Tre’Quan Smith for a fraction of the DFS salary. Game flow should force the Saints to air it out, so I’m liking Harris to pay dividends on his cheap price.

TIGHT END
Dawson Knox - Buffalo (at New Orleans)
Knox is another potential stacking extension of Allen. Yes, Darren Waller is the best overall play of the position, but Knox is much more attainable from a cap space point of view. Knox is enjoying a breakout season that has included double-digit fantasy points in four of his last six games. There’s a good chance he’ll keep that momentum at New Orleans in this primetime affair.

DEFENSE
Bills Defense (at New Orleans)
Trevor Siemian has been a respectable fill-in for the Saints, but he could run into problems against the Bills. Buffalo’s defense was humiliated after giving up 41 points to the Colts last week, so they certainly have revenge on their mind. Taking on a backup quarterback and a New Orleans team that will likely be without their best player (Alvin Kamara) is an excellent spot to get back on track.
