Here we go with the Single Game NFL DFS slate for Monday Night Football of Week 3. Today’s matchup is between the Eagles and Cowboys with Dallas checking in as a 3.5-point home favorite. The over/under currently rests at 51.5 total points. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 ET.

We’ll highlight the top picks and best bargains to assemble a cash-inducing lineup. On top of that, the “additional notes” section will feature several tournament selections while adding context to the rest of this slate.

TOP PICKS

Dak Prescott - QB - Dallas (DK: $11,200 / FD: $16,000 / Yahoo: $34)

Prescott will be the most popular flex and top play of this slate. I’m subscribing to that for cash games, as there’s no need to get cute with it. Prescott is coming off a down performance against the Chargers last week, as Dallas decided to prioritize the run in that game. I’m not expecting that to happen tonight. This should be a fairly high-scoring game with both quarterbacks going back and forth. Even though Philadelphia’s defense has looked good through two weeks, they haven’t exactly faced top-notch QBs. Expect Prescott to come through on Monday.

Jalen Hurts - QB - Philadelphia (DK: $11,000 / FD: $16,500 / Yahoo: $34)

You have to love Hurts’ dual-threat ability, especially on a showdown slate. It’s pretty easy to roster him in the same lineup as Prescott, and that’s a preferred strategy. Hurts was brilliant in the season-opener at Atlanta, but his passing efficiency dropped in Week 2 vs. San Francisco. Luckily, his legs came to life en route to a 22 fantasy point showing. Dallas’ defense has been generous dating back to last season, so this could be another 22-25+ FP showing for Hurts.

BEST BARGAINS

Jalen Reagor - WR - Philadelphia (DK: $6,200 / FD: $7,500 / Yahoo: $15)

Reagor seems overpriced on DraftKings, but I like him as a bargain on FanDuel and Yahoo. The Philadelphia WR ranks second in targets (11) and tied for first in receptions (8) for the Eagles. Despite that, he checks in at a strong discount on FanDuel and Yahoo. DeVonta Smith is the top option of the Philly passing attack, but Reagor is a close second. I like both of them in the same lineup against Dallas.

Zach Ertz - TE - Philadelphia (DK: $2,200 / FD: $6,000 / Yahoo: $15)

Ertz is more of a bargain-basement filler to consider on DraftKings. He was questionable earlier in the week, but the most recent reports suggest he’ll play. Ertz’s snap count through two games is identical to fellow tight end Dallas Goedert, but the latter has been more productive. That will probably be the general theme through this season, but Ertz should get some looks in tonight’s primetime matchup. You could do worse for $2,200 on DraftKings.

TOURNAMENT LOOKS

Cedrick Wilson - WR - Dallas (DK: $4,400 / FD: $6,500 / Yahoo: $10)

Wilson has taken over the majority of slot WR snaps with Michael Gallup sidelined. That didn’t translate to much fantasy production last week, but then again, the Cowboys didn’t prioritize their passing attack. If Dallas decides to throw more this time around (which is expected), then Wilson could benefit with more looks in Gallup’s role. He’s an interesting lift in tournaments and borderline cash playable as well.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Amari Cooper (WR - DAL) was dealing with a rib injury, but he should be good to go tonight. It’s tough to decide between him and CeeDee Lamb (WR - DAL), so I’m letting the price guide me when applicable. Lamb’s salary on Yahoo is tempting.

DeVonta Smith (WR - PHI) is a strong pairing with Hurts on tonight’s slate. I don’t mind locking him in through all formats, as the rookie certainly has the presence of a WR1 while heading into this intriguing matchup with the Cowboys.

Miles Sanders (RB - PHI) deserves cash game consideration in my opinion. His price isn’t as lofty as Ezekiel Elliott (RB - DAL) and we can potentially expect similar production. That’s because Tony Pollard (RB - DAL) could eat into Zeke’s touches, which was the case last week. Pollard makes for an interesting tournament pick while hoping he can get the hot hand once again.

Dallas Goedert (TE - PHI), Dalton Schultz (TE - DAL), and Blake Jarwin (TE - DAL) are touchdown-dependent tournament plays at different salary levels. The Cowboys let Rob Gronkowski slip past them in the season-opener, so Goedert is hoping to have similar success.
