Here we go with the Single Game NFL DFS slate for Sunday Night Football of Week 11. Today’s matchup is between the Steelers and Chargers with Los Angeles checking in as a six-point home favorite. The over/under currently rests at 47.5 total points. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 ET.
We’ll highlight the top picks and best bargains to assemble a cash-inducing lineup. On top of that, the “additional notes” section will feature several tournament selections while adding context to the rest of this slate.

TOP PICKS
Justin Herbert - QB - LA Chargers (DK: $11,200 / FD: $16,500 / Yahoo: $33)
This isn’t a great matchup on paper, but Herbert still has merit as the top overall play of this slate. We all know that the Chargers love to throw the ball, as they have the fifth-highest passing rate in the NFL. There’s a good chance they’ll lean on the passing game even more while facing Pittsburgh, who boasts one of the best run defenses in the league. You can pick apart the Steelers’ defense with quick passes, and I’m expecting the Chargers to lean into that strategy. In other words, Herbert should see plenty of volume to put together a nice fantasy performance that leads this slate.
Keenan Allen - WR - LA Chargers (DK: $9,400 / FD: $12,500 / Yahoo: $24)
Take everything I said in Herbert’s write-up and directly apply it to Allen. The superstar receiver should easily get double-digit targets, and he’s an excellent route runner to find room despite the perceived difficult matchup. Allen is especially underpriced on FanDuel, but I’m looking towards him on all three sites as a capable stacking extension of Hebert. Lock these guys in and build your cash lineup around them.

BEST BARGAINS
Chris Boswell - K - Pittsburgh (DK: $3,600 / FD: $8,500 / Yahoo: N/A)
Boswell makes for an adequate bargain on this slate. The Steelers red-zone offense isn’t great, which has led to Boswell carrying the scoring load in recent games. The result: Boswell has notched double-digit fantasy points in four of his last five games. There’s a good chance that he’ll keep it going tonight, and I like taking him as an ambassador of the Steelers’ offense.
Pat Freiermuth - TE - Pittsburgh (DK: $5,400 / FD: $9,500 / Yahoo: $17)
Okay, so Freiermuth isn’t a deep bargain, but he’s a solid mid-range pick on all three sites. The rookie has stepped up in recent games with four or more catches and three touchdowns in his last three. Even with Eric Ebron back in the lineup, Freiermuth is still getting his looks. And there are plenty of underneath looks with Ben Roethlisberger preferring the shorter routes as opposed to chucking it deep.
TOURNAMENT LOOKS
Josh Palmer - WR - LA Chargers (DK: $1,600 / FD: $6,000 / Yahoo: $10)
I have a gut feeling about Palmer tonight. At the very worst, I don’t think he’ll hurt your fantasy squad, and there’s some upside on his bargain-basement salary. Palmer hauled in three catches on four targets last week, and that’s a respectable workload for a dirt-cheap fantasy option. I’m looking towards Palmer as a cheap filler and extension of Herbert.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Ben Roethlisberger (QB - PIT) is frustrating. He’s not a fantasy priority on this slate, and it’s probably better to roll with Diontae Johnson (WR - PIT) when targeting this passing attack.
Najee Harris (RB - PIT) has merit in this slate, as he’s a workhorse running back going against a Chargers defense that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to running backs. His salary is more agreeable on FanDuel and Yahoo than DraftKings. Austin Ekeler (RB - LAC) has merit in the passing game, but I’d rather take Allen for less cap space in this slate.
Mike Williams (WR - LAC) and Jared Cook (TE - LAC) are tournament options. Williams is an interesting pivot off Allen, hoping he can scoop up a touchdown or two instead of his receiving counterpart.
Chase Claypool (WR - PIT) and James Washington (WR - PIT) are deeper tournament bargains. Eric Ebron (TE - PIT) is a touchdown-dependent swerve away from Freiermuth if you are trotting out numerous tournament lineups.
