QUARTERBACK
Josh Allen – Buffalo (vs Detroit)
We can all agree that Josh Allen is a much better fantasy quarterback than real-life signal caller at this stage in his career. The main driving point of his fantasy viability has come from 335 rushing yards and two scores over his past three games. Is that sustainable moving forward? I believe so (at least to some degree) as Allen has the freedom to move around as he pleases, and it has become a huge part of his game lately. His matchup through the air doesn’t look too bad either, facing a Detroit defense that ranks 30th in opponent passer rating.

RUNNING BACK
Doug Martin – Oakland (at Cincinnati)
Even though the overall fantasy output has been modest, let’s take a moment to recognize that Doug Martin has scored in three straight games. The Oakland running back finds himself in a quality matchup to reach for upside, facing a Cincinnati defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Unsurprisingly, the Bengals have coughed up the second-most rushing touchdowns (14) to running backs as well. Martin should see his usual 15-20 touches (maybe more if he gets the hot hand) in one of the best matchups at his position.

Chris Carson – Seattle (at San Francisco)
Both Doug Martin and Chris Carson are a few mid-range running backs that others may sleep on. The situation looks good for both of them, as Carson checks into a strong draw at San Francisco with game flow and matchup potential in his favor. He was able to translate 16 touches into 108 total yards against the 49ers in their meeting two weeks ago. I believe he can post similar yardage numbers with a chance at scoring as the proverbial cherry on top.

WIDE RECEIVER
Robert Foster – Buffalo (vs Detroit)
Foster is a tournament stacking extension with QB Josh Allen. As mentioned earlier in the article, Detroit has been generous to opposing passing attacks this season, opening the door for Allen and his wide receivers to make some noise. Foster has been sneaky-good with 94+ yards in three of his past four games, and the targets seem to be ascending with Kelvin Benjamin off the team. Keep him in your back pocket for large-field tournament consideration.
Dede Westbrook – Jacksonville (vs Washington)
This game has an absurdly low over/under at 36 total points. Most people will look elsewhere for that reason, but let’s not forget about Dede Westbrook as an economical WR3 option. He’s coming off a strong showing at Tennessee with a solid 7-88-1 line on 10 targets. Game flow vs Washington this week should call for less pass attempts, but Westbrook will be looking at a nice individual matchup vs CB Greg Stroman while missing the coverage of Josh Norman.

TIGHT END
Vernon Davis – Washington (at Jacksonville)
Here we go again with a recommendation from one of the lowest totals of the season. However, opportunity knocks for Vernon Davis with Jordan Reed doubtful. Josh Johnson is starting at quarterback for Washington this week, and there’s a chance he’ll check-down to his tight end often with a shaky offensive line in front of him. Jacksonville has been very good at limiting opposing receivers this season, but they rank middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. In other words, targets could funnel towards Davis, especially if game flow directs Washington to the passing game.
