Packers signed DL Devonte Wyatt to a four-year, $12.86 million contract.
All of it is guaranteed, standard fare for a rookie contract. Wyatt, a menacing defensive lineman on Georgia’s historic 2021 defense, will receive a $6.533 million signing bonus. Wyatt totaled 39 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks last season and was named first-team All-SEC and second-team All-American. Green Bay’s heavy investment in elite defensive prospects could give the Packers one of the league’s scariest defenses in 2022 and beyond.
