  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
DeVonta Smith caught 6-of-8 targets for 99 yards in the Eagles’ Week 11 win over the Chiefs.
That final yard to get him to 100 yards would have been the most important one as the spry receiver hauled in a 41-yard pass and was downed at the one, setting up the go-ahead tush push score for quarterback Jalen Hurts’ second rushing score of the night. Even so, Smith handily led the team in receiving with only running back D’Andre Swift going for more than eight yards through the air on a night Hurts passed for just 150 yards. Up next for Smith and the Eagles is a meeting with the decimated secondary of the Buffalo Bills at home in Week 12.
  • JAX Wide Receiver #13
Jaguars WR Christian Kirk (groin) will not return to Week 13 against the Bengals.
Kirk caught the first pass of the game for 26 yards before being removed from the game with what is being called a groin injury. He was ruled out for the remainder of the game after the Jaguars returned to the playing field following halftime. Kirk’s night ends with one reception for 26 yards.
  • JAX Wide Receiver #13
Jaguars WR Christian Kirk (groin) is questionable to return to Week 13 against the Bengals.
Kirk came down awkwardly on a 26-yard reception early in the first quarter of the team’s Week 13 game against the Bengals and was seen grabbing his groin. He walked off the field under his own power but was taken directly to the locker room for further evaluation. Kirk was deemed questionable to return.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #5
Bengals WR Tee Higgins is active for Week 13 against the Jaguars.
Higgins has missed the previous three games while tending to a hamstring injury. His return to the active roster for Week 13 likely signals the end of Trenton Irwin’s increased snap rates. Inactive for the Bengals are RB Chris Evans, LB Devin Harper, C Trey Hill, OT D’Ante Smith, and DT Jay Tufele.
  • JAX Running Back #1
Jaguars RB Travis Etienne is active for Week 13 against the Bengals.
Etienne drew the questionable tag with an injury to his ribs but was always expected to play against the Bengals on Monday Night Football. Expect him to see his standard workload.
  • JAX Tight End #85
Jaguars declared WR Elijah Cooks, CB Montaric Brown, OLB Yasir Abdullah, OL Chandler Brewer, TE Brenton Strange, and DT Angelo Blackson inactive for Week 13 against the Bengals.
Tight end Brenton Strange has played a rather consistent 30 to 50 percent of the team’s offensive snaps this season. His absence is likely to increase the snap rates of Evan Engram and Luke Farrell for Monday Night Football against the Bengals.
  • FA Quarterback #9
    Giants waived QB Matt Barkley.
Barkley was signed to the active roster after injuries to Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor. His release signals the likely return of Taylor, who should enter the starting lineup under center for the Giants coming out of their Week 13 bye.
  • GB Wide Receiver #9
Packers HC Matt LaFleur said the team is not sure of the severity of Christian Watson’s hamstring injury suffered in Week 13 against the Chiefs.
Watson exited in the fourth quarter with what looked like a bad hamstring injury, but he was seen moving on the sideline and didn’t look to be in too much pain after leaving the field. According to Packers beat writer Rob Demovsky, Watson “did seem to be moving better today during a brief sighting in the locker room,” so it’s possible this is a minor injury. LaFleur said he didn’t know if Watson’s injury would sideline him for multiple weeks like we saw earlier this year, making his status one to watch come Wednesday when the team releases its first injury report.
  • FA Tight End #86
Ravens HC John Harbaugh said, “We like our tight ends. I think right now we’ll roll with those guy,” when asked about free agent TE Zach Ertz.
Ertz was released by the Cardinals last week and is free to sign with any team. Hoping to catch on with a contender, the Ravens have drawn plenty of speculation given the injury to Mark Andrews, but Harbaugh doesn’t appear interested in the veteran tight end at this time. It’s possible Harbaugh is just playing his cards close to his chest, but second-year tight end Isaiah Likely turned in a strong rookie campaign in 2022, and Charlie Kolar has been solid in limited action through two seasons. It was reported over the weekend that the Ravens, Bills, Chiefs, and Eagles were four teams interested in signing Ertz. We’ll see if the Ravens change their tune, but for now, we’ll assume they’re out on him.
  • FA Linebacker #56
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Dolphins will host free agent LB Reuben Foster for a workout.
Foster was last seen in the USFL but could soon find himself on an NFL roster. The former first-round pick hasn’t played an NFL snap since 2018 and has 101 tackles and 10 TFLs to his name. Foster is a potential option to replace linebacker Jerome Baker, who suffered an MCL injury in Week 13’s win over the Commanders and is considered week-to-week. Foster wouldn’t be expected to see significant snaps anytime soon, even if the Dolphins do sign him.
  • DET Center #77
Lions HC Dan Campbell said C Frank Ragnow (knee) might not play in Week 14 against the Bears.
Campbell said news on Ragnow’s injury postgame was more good than bad, but it’s possible he will miss Week 14. Ragnow was knocked from Sunday’s matchup against the Saints in the second quarter and didn’t return to the field. He missed time earlier this season with a foot injury and could miss at least one week with this new injury he’s dealing with. Guard Graham Glasgow took over for Ragnow after his injury and would presumably start at center next week if Ragnow can’t go.
