Bears signed WR/KR DeAndre Carter, formerly of the Raiders.
Carter spent last season with the Raiders, appearing in all 17 games while catching four passes for 39 scoreless yards. For much of his six-year career, Carter’s primary contributions have been in the return game. He returned 35 kicks and punts for 494 yards and could flourish as a kick returner under the league’s new return rules. He’ll likely have to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster but should have a good shot at handling primary kick return duties this season.
  • GB Wide Receiver #11

Jayden Reed (foot/shoulder) is active for Week 14 against the Bears.
Reed is returning to the lineup after missing over two months with foot and shoulder issues. Fantasy managers should take a wait-and-see approach with him this week. We suspect his role will be limited out of the gates. Inactive for the Packers are OL Donovan Jennings, DL Quinton Bohanna, WR Savion Williams, DL Lukas Van Ness, and DL Nazir Stackhouse.
Gibbs can unseat CMC, Taylor as fantasy's top RB
Kyle Dvorchak discusses Jahmyr Gibbs' massive game against the Cowboys on Thursday night, sharing why the dual-threat back appears poised to finish be fantasy's top overall running back to finish out the year.
  • WAS Tight End #86
Zach Ertz (knee) exited in the third quarter of Week 14’s game against the Vikings.
Ertz attempted to make a leaping grab, only to have his legs taken out by safety Jay Ward. Ertz remained down on the field for several minutes while having his right knee tended to, and was unable to put any weight on it while being assisted to the sidelines. It was a bad looking injury that is likely to sideline him for the remainder of the game and perhaps longer. If his day is over, Ertz will finish with a 1-11-0 line on two targets.
  • CHI Wide Receiver #15
Bears declared WR Rome Odunze, CB Tyrique Stevenson, LB Ruben Hyppolite, DE Dominique Robinson, DT Jonathan Ford, and QB Case Keenum inactive for Week 14 against the Packers.
Odunze was ruled out on Friday after missing all three practices this week. He is considered week-to-week with a stress fracture in his foot. Expect rookie Luther Burden to see more work with routes up for grabs in Chicago.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #18
Cardinals declared WR Marvin Harrison Jr., RB Emari Demercado, S Rabbit Taylor-Demerson, OL Evan Brown, WR Xavier Weaver, and DL Walter Nolen III inactive for Week 14 against the Rams.
  • GB Wide Receiver #0
Matthew Golden (wrist) is active for Week 14 against the Bears.
Golden will play for the first time since Week 11. He has missed much of the second half of the season to date with wrist and shoulder injuries. With Jayden Reed also back this week, Golden’s role will likely be limited. He is a WR5/6 for Week 14.
  • LV Tight End #87
Raiders declared TE Michael Mayer, WR Dont’e Thornton, RB Zamir White, QB Aidan O’Connell, CB Darnay Holmes, WR Alex Bachman and DT Leki Fotu inactive for Week 14 against the Broncos.
Mayer has been sidelined since injuring his ankle in Week 12 against the Browns. Raiders head coach Pete Carroll said he expects rookie WR Jack Bech to be more involved with Thornton, a fellow rookie, sidelined this week. Thornton has caught just 8-of-25 targets for 123 yards this season, though, so his absence in the passing game is hardly significant. Bech should not be started against the Broncos’ elite defense.
  • WAS Quarterback #5
Jayden Daniels was seen entering the medical tent in Week 14’s game against the Vikings.
Daniels had a batted pass intercepted in the opening drive of the third quarter and was lit up on a block by cornerback Isaiah Rodgers on the return. Daniels was in visible pain and appeared to be grabbing at his elbow/shoulder — the same one he injured in Week 9 against the Seahawks. After sitting on the sideline for a bit, Daniels was seen heading to the medical tent. He is now considered questionable to return.
  • DEN Defensive Tackle #93
Broncos declared DT D.J. Jones, TE Nate Adkins, OLB Que Robinson, CB Reese Taylor, DL Jordan Jackson and OT Geron Christian inactive for Week 14 against the Raiders.
Jones’ absence is due to an ankle injury, leaving the Broncos’ defense without its starting nose tackle. Fortunately, DL Zach Allen (calf) is active, as is WR Pat Bryant (hamstring). Allen has tallied 48 quarterback pressures and eight sacks so far this season. He has strong odds of increasing both sums against Raiders QB Geno Smith (foot), who enters Week 14 with the second-highest sack sum (46) this year.
  • PIT Tight End #80
Steelers TE Darnell Washington (concussion) was ruled out in Week 14 against the Ravens.
Washington’s head hit the ground hard at the end of a catch and run in the first quarter against Baltimore. He was woozy and helped to the locker room, where he was evaluated for a brain injury and quickly ruled out. Jonnu Smith and Pat Freiermuth will likely see more snaps and pass routes with Washington sidelined, though neither player will be reliable in fantasy.
  • MIA Running Back #28
Dolphins RB De’Von Achane (rib) is questionable to return Week 14 against the Jets.
Fantasy managers get a major scare ahead of the fantasy playoffs as Achane got up gingerly after getting tackled at the end of a 29-yard rush in the second quarter. He went to the medical tent in pain and walked to the locker room prior to halftime. Achane is questionable to return with a rib injury; Jaylen Wright is getting the majority of backfield touches while he is out against the Jets.
