James Conner rushed 21 times for 122 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ Week 2 win over the Rams, adding one reception for two yards.
Conner was once again the bell cow for the Cardinals, handling nearly all of the backfield touches until the game got out of hand late. He smashed the middle of the Rams defense and got to the second level often, averaging an efficient 5.8 yards per carry. Conner scored once and nearly added another, fumbling the ball into the end zone where Trey McBride then recovered it for the score. Consistently seeing a high-volume workload, Conner will be a high-end RB2 against the Lions in Week 3.
