Jaguars HC Liam Coen said the team has “no plans on moving Brian Thomas Jr. at all.”
Coen is looking to clear the air after The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported on Sunday that the Jaguars are “listening to calls” for the second-year receiver. Even if true, Russini also noted that it was “highly unlikely” the team would trade BTJ after a rookie season that featured a 87-1,282-10 line, but after a slow start to his 2025 campaign, partly due to injuries, there could be something to the idea of the team being open to trading him should a “godfather offer” come across the table. With the NFL trade deadline just over a week away, we should have our answer on BTJ’s future with the Jaguars soon, but Coen’s remarks on Monday sound pretty concrete. We wouldn’t expect the Jags to trade Thomas this season.

Chargers agreed to terms with QB Trey Lance on a one-year, $6.75 million contract.
Lance served as the backup to Justin Herbert in 2025, apparently doing enough to warrant a return to the team for the coming season. Lance has started six games across 16 appearances in four professional seasons with the 49ers, Cowboys, and Chargers, starting one game each in the previous two seasons. His career five-to-five touchdown-to-interception ratio and 54.0% completion rate leave a lot to be desired, particularly considering he has not thrown a touchdown since his rookie season in 2021. At bare minimum, he brings familiarity with the offensive system and continuity behind Herbert.
White has opportunity to be fantasy relevant
With Rachaad White signing with the Washington Commanders, Kyle Dvorchak outlines why White could be fantasy relevant in 2026 with little competition on the roster pre-NFL draft.
  • SEA Cornerback #34
    Seahawks re-signed CB Shemar Jean-Charles to a one-year contract.
Jean-Charles spent the entirety of the 2025 season on the Seahawks’ practice squad after playing for the Packers, 49ers, and Saints during his first four years in the league. The signing is a depth move with the four-year veteran carrying the ability to carve out snaps in camp and preseason.
  • KC Offensive Lineman #66
Chiefs re-signed OL Mike Caliendo to a one-year contract.
Caliendo has played the entirety of his three-year NFL career in Kansas City, starting seven games across 42 appearances with the franchise. He offers solid depth along the front and is capable of playing all three interior line positions. The team originally did not offer Caliendo a tender but end up bringing him back on the one-year deal. The financials of the contract were not immediately made available.
  • TEN Wide Receiver #0
Titans agreed to terms on a restructured contract with WR Calvin Ridley.
The details of the restructure were not immediately made available, but it sounds like the two sides did not address the maturation of the contract, meaning Ridley is still under team control through the 2027 season after signing a four-year contract with the team prior to the 2024 season. Ridley missed the second half of 2025 due to a broken fibula suffered in the middle of November. Rumors swirled throughout the offseason of the team potentially releasing Ridley, but he remains in Tennessee... at least for the immediate future.
  • CIN Quarterback #14
Bengals agreed to terms with QB Josh Johnson on a one-year contract.
The well-traveled quarterback turns 40 on Sunday and heads back to Cincinnati for his third stint with the team after agreeing to terms on a one-year contract. He’ll have a good chance to earn the backup role behind franchise quarterback Joe Burrow considering the only other quarterback on the roster is Sean Clifford. Johnson has spent time with 16 NFL franchises during his sprawling career, amassing 11 professional starts across 50 appearances, most recently starting two games for the Commanders in 2025 in relief of the injured Jayden Daniels. The financials of the contract were not yet made available.
  • IND Quarterback #5
ESPN’s Stephen Holder believes the Packers are a team to monitor for Colts QB Anthony Richardson, who is available via trade.
Previous reports have indicated that trade talks for Richardson are far enough along that a deal could be completed this weekend. The Buccaneers, Chiefs, Lions, Packers, Rams and Ravens have all reportedly checked in. While Holder reports that no deal is imminent, he points out the Packers, who lost backup QB Malik Willis this offseason, as the team to monitor. Compensation for Richardson in a trade is likely to be no more than a late-round draft pick. Richardson, who turns 24 in May, has started only 15 games in three seasons for the Colts.
  • SF Defensive Lineman #97
49ers restructured DL Nick Bosa’s contract.
The 49ers did a simple restructure on Bosa’s contract, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, creating $17.1 million in cap space. The 28-year-old defensive lineman is still due $23.1 million this season while his cap hits in 2027 and 2028 are now over $100 million combined. Bosa played just three games in 2025 after tearing his ACL in the first month of the season, but is expected to be available sometime around training camp.
  • BAL Defensive Lineman #97
    Ravens re-signed DL C.J. Okoye.
Okoye entered the NFL via the International Player Pathway Program in 2023 and took his first regular season snaps in 2025. He logged 214 defensive snaps last year, notching 10 solo tackles and two quarterback pressures. Okoye, 24, will likely play a rotational role again this year.
  • CHI Cornerback #33
    Bears re-signed CB Jaylon Jones.
It’s a one-year deal. Jones, 28, logged a career-low 39 defensive snaps during the 2025 regular season and coincidentally earned a career-high 74.4 PFF coverage grade. He is unlikely to win a starting job this year, but he can serve as a decent backup. His performance on special teams can be volatile.
  • WAS Guard #75
    Commanders re-signed LG Chris Paul.
Financial details have not yet been disclosed, but it is a one-year deal for the 27-year-old blocker. Paul’s 78.2 PFF pass-blocking grade ranked second among Commanders offensive linemen with at least 100 offensive snaps last season. His run blocking needs work, but he should continue to give QB Jayden Daniels extra time in the pocket.
