Jaguars acquired WR Jakobi Meyers from the Raiders in exchange for fourth and sixth-round picks.
Meyers finally finds his way out of Vegas four months after requesting a trade to escape Chip Kelly’s offensive scheme. Meyers never gelled with Geno Smith and hardly saw an increase in usage during Brock Bowers’ extended injury absence. Meyers managed 32 catches for 352 yards and zero touchdowns over seven games with the Raiders this season. Jacksonville acquiring Meyers at the trade deadline could mean the team is anticipating a worst-case scenario for Brian Thomas, who suffered a serious ankle injury in Week 9 against the Raiders. The team is already without Travis Hunter, who last week was placed on IR with a knee injury. Meyers’ fantasy prospects likely get a boost in Jacksonville if Thomas is sidelined for a while. Meanwhile, Tre Tucker becomes the de facto WR1 in Vegas, though Bowers should continue dominating targets as he did in Week 9. The Raiders could see what they have in Jack Bech as well.
  • TEN Free Safety #28

    Titans waived S Quandre Diggs.
Diggs had played 328 defensive snaps for the Titans while starting four games. He maintains a 64.4 PFF coverage grade. The veteran safety could be looking to latch on to a more competitive team with the playoffs approaching. Now that we’re past the trade deadline, all vested veterans are subject to waivers so any team that wants the remainder of Diggs’ contract is free to claim him.
Bears backfield will 'still be a split' in Week 10
Kyle Dvorchak talks about D'Andre Swift being a full participant in practice for the Bears, discussing how his return to the field could hurt Kyle Monangai and debating if both players can be started in fantasy football.
  • WAS Running Back #22
Commanders RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt (tooth) is not on Washington’s final Week 10 injury report.
He’ll be an RB3 in a tough spot against Detroit, with Detroit favored by more than a touchdown in Washington. The Commanders haven’t generated much offense of late and having Marcus Mariota at quarterback probably won’t help much.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #5
Jets WR Garrett Wilson (knee) is questionable to play in Week 10 against the Browns.
Wilson remained limited on Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to full participation on Friday. He told reporters on Thursday that he will play, and we generally believe him, though it is possible the Jets will play it safe by keeping him out one more week. The team’s Week 9 bye allowed Wilson to rehab for three weeks while missing just two games. He is a borderline WR1/2 if active.
  • FA Coaching Staff
Raiders fired special teams coordinator Tom McMahon.
That’ll fix it. McMahon was seen getting into it with Pete Carroll on the sideline during Thursday night’s loss. A.J. Cole knocked two punts inside the two-yard-line and watched Chip Kelly’s offense go nowhere while scoring just seven points. We’re guessing this won’t be the last Raiders firing of this season.
  • LAC Running Back #8
Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) was seen working off to the side at practice on Friday.
To be clear, Hampton was not participating in the team’s official practice. Working off to the side typically suggests the player is simply going through exercises with the team’s coaching staff. The Athletic’s Daniel Popper opines, this is a “positive sign for the rookie RB as he works his way back from an ankle injury.” Earlier this week, Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said the team will wait to open Hampton’s 21-day practice window until after the Week 12 bye. Hopefully, he can return in Week 13 or soon thereafter.
  • DET Tackle #58
Lions RT Penei Sewell (shoulder) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 10 against the Commanders.
Earlier today, Lions head coach Dan Campbell said things were “looking good” for Sewell and LT Taylor Decker (shoulder) to play on Sunday. Backup OT Dan Skipper (back) is questionable to play and S Kerby Joseph (knee) has been ruled out. Hopefully, at least one of Decker and/or Skipper is good to go this weekend.
  • MIA Running Back #31
Dolphins RB Ollie Gordon (ankle) is questionable for Miami’s Week 10 game against the Bills.
He got in limited practices all week after injuring the ankle in Week 9’s loss to the Ravens on Thursday. Gordon is probably on the optimistic side of questionable and should serve his normal backup role to De’Von Achane, which means he has little fantasy value on Sunday barring Achane sitting.
  • MIN Tight End #84
Vikings ruled out TE Josh Oliver (foot) for Week 10 against the Ravens.
Oliver’s absence will more likely be felt in the run game than the pass. The veteran tight end has earned just six targets on the season, but has generally fared well as a run-blocker. The Vikings face the Ravens’ fantasy-friendly defense this weekend, so hopefully his absence ultimately goes unnoticed.
  • TB Running Back #44
Buccaneers RB Sean Tucker (groin) is not on Tampa’s final Week 10 injury report.
Bit of a weird one here, with Tucker downgrading to a limited practice on Friday with a groin injury, but not being given a status on the final Week 10 injury report. It’s possible that Rachaad White gets more snaps against the Patriots on Sunday than he had been getting before the bye, but this is probably just the Buccaneers being overly thorough in the wake of the Lamar Jackson listing.
  • MIN Running Back #33
Vikings RB Aaron Jones (shoulder/toe) is questionable to play in Week 10 against the Ravens.
Jones sat out on Wednesday before practicing in a limited capacity on Thursday. Knowing his Friday status would help one assess where he sits on the questionable spectrum, but today’s report has not yet been released. Were he to practice in full, he would seemingly have strong odds of suiting up this weekend. If active, he would carry re-injury risk, but could still be started as a borderline RB2/3.
