This will be the final edition of Waiver Wired for the 2021-22 season. Most fantasy managers are probably in the championship brackets of their leagues by now. There will be players for you to consider adding for your final push towards what I hope is a fantasy title. If your pool is still going into next week then I have you covered as well.

Thank you to everyone for following along this season! Hopefully, you were able to snag someone like Robert Thomas, Tage Thompson, Adrian Kempe, Valeri Nichushkin, Mats Zuccarello, Jesper Bratt, Nick Schmaltz, Michael Bunting or Jeff Skinner for your fantasy squad. They were among my favorite pickups for this campaign.

Brandon Saad scored a goal on Saturday following a three-game scoreless skid. However, he still has 11 points in his past 15 games and he is rostered in just 14% of Yahoo leagues. Seth Jarvis, who is available in 94% of Yahoo leagues, has a four-game point streak and he can be added for Sunday.

Now, let’s get into suggestions:

Matthew Boldy (Minnesota) - LW, RW - Rostered in 27% of Yahoo leagues

Boldy was highlighted on Waiver Wired a week ago when he was rostered in 16% of pools and he is still worth picking up now. The Wild visit Nashville on Sunday prior to playing three times to close out the 2021-22 campaign. He has supplied at least one point in each of his past 10 appearances, while earning three goals and 10 assists during that stretch. Boldy is currently riding an eight-game point spree. The talented rookie has 15 goals, 37 points, 97 shots, 21 blocks and 23 hits in 43 games. Boldy has been playing alongside Frederick Gaudreau (8%), who should be garnering more fantasy attention, as well as Kevin Fiala, who has been red hot down the stretch. He is a strong addition for the remainder of the year as well as a fine roster choice for keeper formats beyond this season.

Victor Olofsson (Buffalo) - LW, RW - Rostered in 21% of Yahoo leagues

Olofsson has been all over the scoresheet since the start of March. He has accounted for 13 goals and 25 points in 26 games. Olofsson has six goals and eight points on the man advantage during that span as well as 65 shots on target. He has registered two goals and six assists over a four-game point streak, which includes three straight multi-point efforts. Olofsson has been skating on the top line alongside Tage Thompson and Jeff Skinner. Unfortunately, Buffalo only plays two times this week. Don’t forget about Olofsson for next season.

Rickard Rakell (Pittsburgh) - LW, RW - Rostered in 20% of Yahoo leagues

Rakell has been a good addition for the Penguins since he was acquired from Anaheim at the trade deadline. He has produced four goals, 13 points, 43 shots, 12 blocks and 32 hits in 16 games. Rakell has one goal, two assists and seven shots in his past two contests. He has been seeing time with Sidney Crosby and Jake Guentzel recently. Rakell is another player who can be picked up just for Sunday’s match versus Philadelphia or rostered for Pittsburgh’s final three games of the 2021-22 regular season.

Brandon Montour (Florida) - D - Rostered in 20% of Yahoo leagues

Montour has amassed 10 points in 11 games this month with two goals and eight assists. He has been held off the scoresheet once in his past five matches, while adding 10 hits and seven blocks. Montour can be rostered on Sunday against Tampa Bay as well as for Florida three matches this week.

Jared McCann (Seattle) - C, LW - Rostered in 20% of Yahoo leagues

McCann leads the Kraken in scoring this season with 26 goals and 47 points in 70 games. He also tops the team with 15 power-play points. McCann has one goal and five assists in his past five outings. That includes two helpers on the man advantage along with 13 shots on goal. Seattle is the busiest team in the final week of the season with four games on the schedule. That also makes Yanni Gourde (15%) an intriguing roster option. He has four goals and three assists in his last 10 outings and he has lit the lamp in each of the past three games.

Jack Roslovic (Columbus) - C, RW - Rostered in 17% of Yahoo leagues

Roslovic has been hot and cold this season, but it has been a good year for him overall. He has reached personal bests in goals (20) and points (42) during his second campaign with the Blue Jackets. Roslovic has also been playing well down the stretch with eight goals and two helpers in his past six contests. He has 17 shots on target during that span and he has a three-game point streak going into Sunday’s matchup against Edmonton. Roslovic can be utilized just for that game or rostered for the team’s remaining four games that will round out the 2021-22 season.

Erik Haula (Boston) - C, LW - Rostered in 17% of Yahoo leagues

Haula has appeared on Waiver Wired several times over the course of the season. He is another player who can be rostered just for Sunday when the Bruins visit Montreal or used for the team’s final four matches of the season. Haula has amassed seven goals and 16 points in his past 16 games. He has been a good fit as the team’s second-line center.

Evgenii Dadonov (Vegas) - LW, RW - Rostered in 15% of Yahoo leagues

Dadonov has generated nine goals and nine assists in 16 games in what has been an up and down season. He has accounted for three goals and seven points in his past six games. Vegas plays three times on the road this week following Sunday’s home matchup versus San Jose, so Dadonov makes for a solid pickup as Vegas attempts to chase down a playoff spot.

Matthew Beniers (Seattle) - C - Rostered in 11% of Yahoo leagues

Beniers appeared on Waiver Wired a week ago when he was rostered in just 1% of leagues. The 19-year-old forward posted one point in each of his first five NHL appearances prior to being held off the scoresheet for the first time on Saturday. He has three goals, two assists, 12 shots, three blocks and five hits as a member of the Kraken. Beniers, who was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, has plenty of upside in the final week of the season and fantasy managers in keeper formats should all over him.

Ross Colton (Tampa Bay) - C, LW, RW - Rostered in 11% of Yahoo leagues

Colton has been firing on all cylinders down the stretch with 11 goals and 13 points in his past 14 appearances. He has piled up 39 shots on goal during that span. Colton has improved in a big way from his first rookie year in 2020-21 and he is currently riding a three-game point streak. He has five goals and one assist during that time. Colton makes for a solid pickup just for Sunday or for Tampa Bay’s final four games of 2021-22.

Honorable Mention:

Brady Skjei (Carolina) - D - Rostered in 18% of Yahoo leagues

Skjei has heated up down the stretch with seven points, including six assists, in his past seven matches. He has one goal and three assists during a four-game point streak. The Hurricanes blueliner has also been credited with 10 shots, three hits and three blocks during that span. Carolina only has two games this week and Skjei can also be streamed for Sunday’s match against the New York Islanders.
