Dylan Strome (36%) and Robert Thomas (32%) have appeared on Waiver Wired several times this season and should be scooped up if they available. Ryan Johansen (29%) and Anthony Cirelli (32%) make for solid roster additions as well.

Evgenii Dadonov went from being rostered in 9% of Yahoo leagues to 26% from a week ago. He remains a very good pickup even though Vegas only has two games scheduled for this week. Sean Durzi jumped from 7% to 17% from last week.

Kailer Yamamoto is still available in 75% of pools, while Kevin Hayes can be had in 92% of Yahoo leagues.

Now, let’s get into this week’s recommendations:

Rickard Rakell (Pittsburgh) - LW, RW - Rostered in 25% of Yahoo leagues

Rakell has supplied three goals and two assists in his past four games thanks to a couple of multi-point performances. He has been skating alongside Evgeni Malkin and Jeff Carter, while seeing some time on the second power-play combination. Rakell makes for a good pickup for this week with the Penguins scheduled to play four times.

Jeff Skinner (Buffalo) - LW, RW - Rostered in 25% of Yahoo leagues

Skinner has heated up again following a bit of a cold stretch in early March. He has lit the lamp four times, while adding three assists and 26 shots on target in his past seven outings. Skinner has been held off the scoresheet once during that span. He has accounted for 27 goals, 48 points and a whopping 219 shots in 67 contests this campaign. Skinner has been productive on the top line of the Sabres with Alex Tuch and Tage Thompson, who leads the team in scoring. Buffalo has four games on tap for this coming week and they play on Sunday afternoon versus Florida.

Jakub Vrana (Detroit) - LW - Rostered in 24% of Yahoo leagues

Vrana has been productive since he made his season debut on Mar. 8 following shoulder surgery. He has notched seven goals and nine points in 12 matches, while adding 28 shots on target. Vrana has bounced around a bit between linemates, but he has been solid on the top power-play unit. He has three goals and one helper on the man advantage. Vrana has also been credited with 12 hits and he has six points (four goals, two assists) in his past six appearances.

Frank Vatrano (NY Rangers) - LW, RW - Rostered in 21% of Yahoo leagues

Vatrano has been mentioned on Waiver Wired before since he was traded to the New York Rangers. His four-game point streak was snapped on Friday, but he remains a strong pickup option. Vatrano has been playing alongside Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider He has five goals, one assist, 21 shots, six blocks and seven hits in nine matches as a member of the Rangers.

Gustav Forsling (Florida) - D - Rostered in 17% of Yahoo leagues

Forsling has been a popular roster addition recently following his second straight multi-point performance on Saturday. He has three goals and five points in his past five outings, including three markers and one assists during that two-game span. It has been a career-year offensively for Forsling, who has 29 points through 59 appearances, even though he slowed down at the end of January. Still, he has seems to be back on the right track now, which makes him an intriguing roster addition down the stretch.

Brandon Saad (St. Louis) - LW, RW - Rostered in 12% of Yahoo leagues

Saad nearly appeared on Waiver Wired a week ago and he has continued to pick up points. He has generated five goals and 10 assists in his past 20 contests. That includes 11 points over his past 12 outings as well as one goal and four helpers during his current four-game point streak. Saad has been skating alongside Ryan O’Reilly and David Perron on the top line, while logging time on the first power-play unit of the Blues. St. Louis has four games at home scheduled for this week.

Jake DeBrusk (Boston) - LW, RW - Rostered in 11% of Yahoo leagues

DeBrusk has generated four goals and seven points in his past seven outings, including four goals and two helpers during a four-game point spree. He has 16 shots on target over that seven-game stretch as well as five hits and four blocks. DeBrusk has been playing on the top line of the Bruins with Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron. Boston’s offense has been rolling, while scoring four or more goals in each of the past four games and the team plays four times on the road this week.

Erik Haula (Boston) - C, LW - Rostered in 10% of Yahoo leagues

Haula appeared on Waiver Wired a week ago when he was rostered in 5% of leagues and he is worth mentioning again. He has been red hot and as previously mentioned, Boston has a busy week upcoming. Haula has racked up four goals and 10 points in his past six matches. He has four multi-point performances during that span along with 12 shots on goal. Haula has been a solid addition for the Bruins this year, while seizing control of the team’s second-line job. He has registered 30 points in 39 games since early January when he started to click with Taylor Hall and they were joined by David Pastrnak.

Yegor Sharangovich (New Jersey) - C, LW, RW - Rostered in 10% of Yahoo leagues

Sharangovich has made positive strides during his sophomore season and he has made appearances on Waiver Wired over the course of the year. He posted his first NHL hat trick on Saturday to give him six goals and 11 points in 12 games since Mar. 8. Sharangovich has four multi-point performances during that span and he has 22 points (11 goals, 11 assists) over his past 22 appearances. The 23-year-old forward has looked very good alongside Jack Hughes and Dawson Mercer on the top line of the Devils. Sharangovich also receives time on the second power-play unit and on the penalty kill.

Alexander Edler (Los Angeles) - D - Rostered in 2% of Yahoo leagues

Edler returned to the lineup on Mar. 17 following a 36-game absence due to a fractured ankle. He has one goal, three assists, seven shots, seven hits and six blocks in seven games since coming back. Edler has picked up all of those points during a three-game streak and he logged 21:36 of ice time on Saturday. If his offensive success continues then he has plenty of multi-category appeal as an under-the-radar pickup.

Honorable Mention:

Victor Olofsson (Buffalo) - LW, RW - Rostered in 8% of Yahoo leagues

Olofsson had a hot start to the season prior to struggling to find the scoresheet from mid-December to the middle of February. However, he has heated up again with 10 goals and 14 points in his past 21 appearances. Olofsson has eight goals, 11 points and 40 shots since the start of March and he hasn’t gone more than one game without a point over 11 contests.
