AUGUSTA, Ga. – Jordan Spieth has been paired with Bubba Watson exactly once before, during last year’s edition of The Barclays.
Just because he’s met him, though, won’t stop the 20-year-old from referring to his final-round Masters playing partner as simply “Bubba.”
As usual, Spieth will opt for the more formal “Mister.”

“Anybody older than me,” he said of whom gets saddled with that prefix.
As for this instance, he added with a smile, “Yeah, Mr. Watson, for sure. Just because it’ll mess with him.”
