Lindsey Vonn (knee) and boyfriend Tiger Woods (back) have both been rehabbing injuries, and both are getting ready to return to their respective sports.

In an interview with CNN, Vonn said the two superstar athletes have been spurring each other on to get back to full strength.

“Tiger and I both went through rehab with our injuries at a similar time, so we were both in the gym together and pushing each other and motivating each other, both frustrated,” Vonn said.

“I think we both helped each other a lot through that time, and I drew a lot of inspiration from him and I think he does the same with me.

“We continue to push each other and it’s a really positive relationship in that way.”

Woods returns this week at his Hero World Challenge in Orlando. Woods hasn’t been seen on the course since missing the cut at the PGA. He had back surgery in March, and he reinjured his back again at Firestone. Woods said the two injuries weren’t related.

Vonn returns to the slopes Friday in Alberta.

The superstar couple has also been competiting at the ping-pong table.

“Unfortunately he holds the record in ping-pong,” Vonn said. “I have only one victory to I don’t know how many hundreds he has.”
