McDowell helps those on the cut line

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Graeme McDowell’s putting woes at his final hole Friday at the U.S. Open helps Tiger Woods, Tom Watson and everyone near the cut line.

At 4-under overall, McDowell hit the green in regulation and then three putted for bogey.

It’s significant because he was the leader at the moment and the cut is made to the low 60 and ties and any player within 10 shots of the lead.

Woods and Tom Watson are flirting with the cut line.

Before McDowell missed the putt, Woods was nine shots off the lead and Watson 10 shots off the lead.
