The Wales Open will have a new sponsor for the next three years, the European Tour announced Monday.

International Sports Promotion Society (ISPS) will take over naming rights from automaker Saab for the event at Celtic Manor’s Twenty Ten Course. The £1.8 million event will be played May 31 - June 3.

ISPS helped to create the International Blind Golf Association (IBGA) in 1998 and aims to raise the profile of blind and disabled golf through its sponsorship of tournaments around the world.

“We believe the ISPS Handa Wales Open offers a great platform from which to promote our mission for golf to become a Paralympic sport,” said ISPS chairman Dr. Haruhisa Handa in a release.

Swede Alex Noren won the 2011 event.
