Both were undrafted free agents, with Johnson being the bigger name. An SMU product, he led the American Athletic Conference with 112 receptions last season. Johnson will look to latch on elsewhere as a camp body, but is a long shot to even crack a practice squad.

Johnson (6'0/179) went undrafted after catching a conference-leading 112 passes for 1,112 yards as a senior last season. He fills the 90th spot on the Patriots current roster, and is the 12th wideout at minicamp. Johnson, who ran a 4.46 at his Pro Day, would do well to make it to final cuts.
