This was a very interesting love triangle. It was rumored that former Dallas Mavericks teammates Jason Kidd and Jim Jackson were both involved with singer Toni Braxton from 1996 to 1997. The story goes that Braxton stopped by the Mavs' hotel to pick up Kidd for a date but left with Jackson instead. Eventually, Kidd demanded a trade -- either him or Jackson -- and the Mavs dealt him to the Suns.
