Brewers re-signed outfielder Jon Nunnally to a minor league contact and assigned him Triple-A Indianapolis.
Chris Coste was placed on Indy’s suspended list, so Nunnally will rejoin the team just 10 days after he was released.
  • PIT Outfield
Pirates signed outfielder Jon Nunnally to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
Nunnally should have spent more time in the majors during his prime, but he’s 33 now and he hit just .216/.323/.373 for Triple-A Indianapolis last season. He’ll probably bounce back as a Triple-A outfielder, but he’s not going to be a candidate to make the Pirates.
