Because of expansion here have been more games, overall, per season since 1998 than there was before 1998. As such, overall league counting records will be skewed in favor of the past 15 years. I had no idea what the record was before I read Jason’s post, but it certainly did feel like the record was set based on my daily perusal of box scores. Also, and if someone wants to check this I’d be indebted to you, I feel like we have at least doubled the record for 3-2 games. Really, every third game seemed like it was 3-2 this season.
