Angels DH Albert Pujols tied Reggie Jackson for 13th on baseball’s all-time home run leaderboard with his 563rd career home run on Sunday against the Mariners. With Mike Trout on first base, Pujols drilled a 1-2 Wade Miley fastball out to left-center for a no-doubt two-run homer.
Pujols entered the at-bat hitless in his previous 26 at-bats. His last hit, prior to that, was a two-run home run in the first inning against the Twins’ Kyle Gibson on April 17.
