Boston Marathon heroes remembered with pregame ceremony at Fenway Park

Prior to Sunday night’s match-up on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball, the Red Sox and Orioles were part of a pregame ceremony dedicated to the heroes of last year’s bombing of the Boston Marathon. Victims Krystle Campbell, Martin Richard, Lu Lingzi and officer Sean Collier were honored. The University of Massachusetts marching band and the Boston Pipers Society performed. Additionally, the police departments from Watertown and Boston, as well as the Massachusetts state police were there as well.

The Red Sox will wear special uniforms for Monday morning’s series finale against the Orioles, which will become an annual tradition.
