According to various reports there are as many as four teams interested in free agent catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia: The Diamondbacks, Royals, Indians and Mariners. There could be others, but those are the ones mentioned so far.

The Marlins cut Saltalamacchia with about $15 million remaining on a three-year, $21 million deal signed last offseason. He has been useless this season and last, but in 2013 he hit .273 with 14 homers and an .804 OPS in 121 games for the Red Sox. Now that he’s basically free, he’ll find a team soon.
