The Cleveland Indians signed 1B/DH Chris Colabello to a minor league contract today. He’ll get an invitation to spring training.

Colabello hit .321 with 15 homers and an .886 OPS over 101 games with the Blue Jays in 2015, but he was popped for PEDS early in the 2016 season and served an 80-game suspension.

Still, a good bargain hunting move for the the Indians and not a bad landing spot for Colabello given that the Indians could use a corner/DH guy right now. And if he can’t hit, he costs Cleveland nothing.
