Jurickson Profar won’t play in the Arizona Fall League due to shoulder soreness

Rangers infielder Jurickson Profar has already missed all of the 2014 season due to a partial tear in his right shoulder. Now he won’t play in the Arizona Fall League as he is still experiencing soreness his shoulder,’s T.R. Sullivan reports. Profar has already been examined by a doctor in Los Angeles and is expected to be examined again in Texas.

Profar, 21, has been a top prospect in baseball for quite some time, earning #1 overall honors from, Baseball America, and Baseball Prospectus going into the 2013 season. In his first extended look at the big league level last season, Profar hit .234/.308/.336 with six home runs and 26 RBI in 324 plate appearances.
