Given how MLB committees tend to roll, I presume this means that we’ll get updates that the committee is still looking into the matter each year while Selig still reigns as Commissioner through, like, 2027. Five years from now Ken Rosenthal or someone will ask about it:

Rosenthal: “Bud, how is the committee’s work going?”

Selig: “We have top men working on it right now.”

Rosenthal: “Who?”

Selig: “Top. Men.”
