Nationals re-sign non-tendered Olsen

Scott Olsen, who was non-tendered Saturday after making $2.8 million last season, has already agreed to reup with the Nationals, according to ESPN.com’s Jerry Crasnick. The deal is worth a guaranteed $1 million, but the rehabbing left-hander will be able to earn up to $4 million if he starts 33 games. Olsen went 2-4 with a 6.03 ERA in 11 starts last season before undergoing shoulder surgery. He was 8-11 with a 4.20 ERA for Florida in 2008. The Nationals acquired him along with Josh Willingham in exchange for Emilio Bonifacio and prospects Jake Smolinski and P.J. Dean.
