Just a few days after being activated from the 10-day injured list, Phillies reliever Pat Neshek is going back. The club announced on Thursday he’s been placed on the 10-day IL due to a strained left hamstring. Lefty Ranger Suárez has been recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Neshek missed nearly a month of action between May 24 and June 18 due to right rotator cuff inflammation. In his only appearance after being activated, he allowed a run in two-thirds of an inning against the Nationals on Wednesday. Overall, the veteran right-hander sports a 5.00 ERA with a 9/2 K/BB ratio in 18 innings.

Suárez, 23, made one appearance for the Phillies thus far, lasting four innings. He surrendered four runs on seven hits and a walk with six strikeouts versus the Diamondbacks. He amassed a 5.68 ERA in 38 innings with Lehigh Valley this year.
