Lots of eyes are on Rays starter David Price tonight. Via Mark Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times:

Among teams with scouts (top or more than normal) watching #Rays Price tonight: #BlueJays, #Cardinals, #Giants, #Indians, #Yankees

The Rays are a disappointing 29-45 this season, good for last place in the AL East. They’re 5.5 games out of fourth place and 12 games out of first. As Price is a free agent after the 2015 season following his fourth and final year of arbitration eligibility, the Rays are expected to shop their lefty leading up to the July 31 trade deadline.

Price, 28, has a 3.93 ERA with an eye-popping 121/10 K/BB ratio in 107 2/3 innings this season. He recorded the 1,000th strikeout of his career when he got Chris Carter looking in the second inning.
