Sean McAdam of CSNNewEngland.com says outfielder Rusney Castillo “felt some soreness in his left side after his final at-bat” against Boston College and will pay a visit to the Red Sox medical staff Wednesday morning when he reports back to camp.
There doesn’t seem to be a ton of concern about the discomfort coming from the Red Sox, but Castillo is in a battle for the starting center field job with Mookie Betts and can’t afford to miss time.
