Theo Epstein puts on a fake mustache to disguise himself in the Wrigley Field Bleachers

Chicago White Sox v Chicago Cubs

CHICAGO, IL - JULY 27: Theo Epstein (R), President of Operations for the Chicago Cubs, talks with head football coach Jim Harbaugh of the University of Michigan before the game between the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field on July 27, 2016 in Chicago, Illinois. Back in 2005, Theo Epstein famously resigned from the Boston Red Sox, donned a gorilla suit to avoid the press and left Fenway Park. Theo returned a few months later and the Gorilla suit was auctioned off for charity. Yay!

Epstein didn’t resign as the Cubs president today -- they just won the division title, so why would he? -- but he’s donning a disguise once again. He’s sitting out in the bleachers at Wrigley Field with GM Jed Hoyer, watching the Cubs-Brewers game:

I assume this is just a situation where Epstein and Hoyer want to bask in the joy of Cubs fans celebrating the division championship, which they didn’t get to do last night since it happened long after the Cubs game ended. If so, that’s pretty cool.

But dude: if you can give Jason Heyward $184 million, you can spend more than 50 cents on your fake mustache. Do better next time, buddy.
