According to Matt Eddy of Baseball America, the Tigers have agreed to terms on a minor league contract with utility infielder Josh Wilson.
Wilson batted just .239/.271/.299 in 72 plate appearances last season for the Rangers and he owns a rough .239/.271/.299 career slash line at the major league level. But the 33-year-old can play all around the infield defensively and will serve as useful organizational depth this season for Detroit.
