After Jake Peavy won the 2013 World Series with the Red Sox, he bought a Duck Boat. After he won with the 2014 World Series with the Giants, he bought a cable car. That all seemed odd until you realized that he basically lives in a theme park.
Really, his ranch/plantation/farm or whatever you want to call it down in Alabama is all about big displays, as you can see in this behind-the-scenes video of Peavy’s abode below. And no, the Duck Boat and the cable car don’t appear, but there are enough other fun things. Like his light-up bowling alley. And his old west town. And the baseball bat light fixtures which, actually, would be pretty easy to make and why on Earth have we not all made them yet?
