Joey Gallo’s Rangers were visiting the Angels at Tempe Diablo Stadium in Arizona for some Cactus League action on Sunday afternoon. They were down 1-0 in the top of the second facing Angels starter Matt Shoemaker, with Gallo leading off.
Gallo unloaded on a 0-1 offering from Shoemaker, blasting it way over the fence down the right field line, landing in the parking lot. It’s unknown if any vehicles were damaged in the process.
