Video: Justin Upton homers into the camera well at Comerica Park

Justin Upton’s first homer as a Tiger was a big one: a two-run shot in the first inning off of Pirates starter Juan Nicasio. It traveled 451 feet into the camera well in center field at Comerica Park.

Coming into the game, Upton had only five hits in his first 23 plate appearances with his new team. He finished 4-for-5 in Tuesday’s 8-2 victory. Upton signed a six-year, $132.75 million contract with the Tigers in January.
