After a dominant showing in Game 5 of the ALDS against the Astros, Johnny Cueto just didn’t have it tonight in Game 3 of the ALCS against the Blue Jays.

Cueto was charged for eight runs over two-plus innings of work and allowed 11 out of the 17 batters he faced to reach base. The Blue Jays exploded for six runs in the third inning. The big blow against Cueto was a long three-run homer to straightaway center field off the bat of Troy Tulowitzki. Check it out below...

After going 2-for-25 to begin the postseason, Tulowitzki is 4-for-6 with a homer and a double over his last two games. Good news for the Blue Jays.

Kris Medlen replaced Cueto and quickly surrendered up a two-run homer to Josh Donaldson which landed in the second deck in left field. The rout is on in Toronto. The Blue Jays lead Game 3 by the score of 9-2 going into the fifth inning.
