Browns LB Montr Meander (ankle) was carted to the locker room during the team’s second preseason game against the Giants.
Meander was unable to put weight on his leg after going down. He was later ruled out with an ankle injury. The Browns signed Meander to a reserve/futures contract in January but released him after the start of training camp. He was brought back within a few days to add some extra depth to Cleveland’s linebacker room. Meander’s injury will put extra stress on Cleveland’s thin rotation at linebacker.
