Most clutch players and plays in Week 9
Capping an 80-yard drive that lasted just under two minutes, Philip Rivers connected with Vincent Jackson with just 21 seconds remaining for an 18-yard touchdown reception to stun the Giants.
Joseph Addai's two-yard touchdown run with 7:11 remaining in the fourth quarter lifted the Colts past the Texans as Indianapolis just barely maintained its perfect record.
Rookie steps up
It was a day of first for the Buccaneers, as their rookie quarterback started his first game and Tampa Bay earned its first win of the season. Freeman threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-28 victory over the Green Bay Packers.
Clinching the win
With just over two minutes remaining in the game and Atlanta trailing by just three points, there was plenty of time for the Falcons to engineer a rally. Instead, New Orleans defensive end Anthony Hargrove (right) forced and recovered a fumble, returning it one yard for a touchdown and putting the Saints up 30-20.
Contributing both on the ground -- with 97 yards on 29 carries -- and in the air -- with three catches for 37 yards -- Maurice Jones-Drew's 10-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter provided the decisive points as the Jaguars beat the Chiefs, 24-21.
