NASCAR served warnings to 14 Sprint Cup teams for inspection issues last weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. Five teams will lose 15 minutes of practice time this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.
Any team that accumulates four warnings loses its pit stall pick for a race.
Teams that will miss 15 minutes of practice at Phoenix are:
Kevin Harvick’s team received its second warning after failing template inspection three times before qualifying.
Tony Stewart’s team received its third warning after failing template inspection three times before qualifying.
Carl Edwards’ team received its first warning after failing template inspection three times before qualifying.
Martin Truex Jr.'s team received its first warning after failing template inspection three times before qualifying.
AJ Allmendinger’s team received its second warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station three times before qualifying.
Teams that received warnings from Texas were:
Austin Dillon’s team received its third warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race. That came after the team received a warning after it failed the Laser Inspection Station twice before qualifying.
David Ragan’s team received its third warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race.
Greg Biffle’s team received its fourth warning after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before qualifying. The team lost its choice of pit stalls at Texas.
Trevor Bayne’s team received its fourth warning after failing the template inspection station twice before qualifying. The team lost its choice of pit stalls at Texas.
Denny Hamlin’s team received its fourth warning after failing the template inspection station twice before qualifying. The team lost its choice of pit stalls at Texas.
Kyle Busch’s team received its second warning after failing the template inspection station twice before qualifying.
Matt Kenseth’s team received its first warning after failing the template inspection station twice before qualifying.
Kurt Busch’s team received its first warning after failing the template inspection station twice before qualifying.
Jeffrey Earnhardt’s No. 83 BK Racing team received its second warning after failing the template inspection station twice before qualifying.
