CHANGES: Team is scheduled to run a full season for the first time since 2008.

DID YOU KNOW? Nine members of the NASCAR Hall of Fame have driven for the Wood Brothers: David Pearson, Junior Johnson, Cale Yarborough, Joe Weatherly, Curtis Turner, Fred Lorenzen, Glen Wood, Bill Elliott and Dale Jarrett.

EXPECTATIONS: An alliance with Team Penske and a young driver in Ryan Blaney mean there could be some exciting times this season along with some learning experiences.

WHAT THEY SAID:

  • “I’m just looking forward to being back every week,’’ co-owner Eddie Wood on the team returning to a full schedule.
  • “I think the good thing about (the low-downforce package) the races and tests we attended last year seem to fit us real well as a team,’’ said crew chief Jeremy Bullins.
  • “We work very well together (with Team Penske), and I think that’s going to really help us in going back full-time,’’ said Ryan Blaney of the alliance the team has with Team Penske.
