Austin Dillon wins pole for Xfinity Series race at Charlotte

Austin Dillon clinched the Xfinity Series pole for Friday night’s Drive for the Cure 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

A speed of 183.524 mph gave Dillon his sixth pole of the season and his second at Charlotte after he won from the pole in the series’ last visit to the track in May.

Filling out the top five was Kasey Kahne (183.150), Erik Jones (183.107), points leader Chris Buescher (182.883) and Kyle Busch (182.106).

The Drive for the Cure 300 starts on NBCSN at 8 pm ET.
