Regan Smith, who tangled with Ty Dillon both in the race and in a shoving match after the event, said the outcome likely ended both his and Dillon’s chances to earn the championship.

“I guarantee, I might have lost the championship today, but he sure as hell did, too,” an incensed Smith said of Dillon. “There’s zero chance that 3 car (Dillon’s) wins this championship, and we’ll make sure of it.”
