Did you see what Martin Truex Jr.'s crew chief tweeted about Joey Logano?

Martin Truex Jr. and crew chief Cole Pearn blame Joey Logano for the incident that caused Truex Jr. to go into the way in Fontana. While Logano took responsibility, will tension between the two drivers carry over?

Cole Pearn, crew chief for Martin Truex Jr., was not pleased with Joey Logano after Sunday’s race for an incident that caused Truex to hit the wall with about 50 laps left in the race.

Pearn expressed his displeasure in a tweet -- only the fourth tweet he’s done in March.

Pearn later apologized for the tweet in a release distributed by Furniture Row Racing.

“Well, I guess you shouldn’t tweet when you’re mad,” he said in the release. “My apologies for being over the line.”

Dale Earnhardt Jr. tweeted his reaction to Pearn’s comment:

Truex told Motor Racing Network after the race that he would race Logano “differently from now on.’' Logano took the blame for the incident while they raced for fourth. Truex finished 32nd.

This is among a long list of competitors that Logano has had incidents with through the years, including Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin and Ryan Newman, among others.
