Fall Xfinity race at Dover will ‘Drive Sober’ for 200 miles

Dover International Speedway announced that its fall Xfinity Series race in 2016 will be sponsored by the Delaware Office of Highway Safety.

For the third year in a row, an Xfinity race at the “Monster Mile” will be sponsored by the Office of Highway Safety with the Oct. 21 race will be called the “Drive Sober 200.”

The DOHS has sponsored the spring Xfinity races for the past two years with the Buckle Up 200.

“We are pleased to continue the terrific relationship we have with the Delaware Office of Highway Safety,” said Michael Tatoian, Dover International Speedway’s president and CEO in a press release. “This agency has important messages to deliver – ones that affect all of our fans and employees – and we’re happy to partner with the Delaware Office of Highway Safety to help them promote awareness of their critical initiatives.”

The last two Xfinity races at Dover were won by Regan Smith and Chris Buescher.
