Texas Motor Speedway has announced that actor John Krasinski will be the grand marshal for its Nov. 8 Sprint Cup race.

Krasinski, the star of The Office TV series and the upcoming 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, will give the command to start engines to kick off the second race of the third round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

“It’s a huge honor to be asked to serve as this year’s Grand Marshal,” said Krasinski in a press release. “I am really excited to be going to NASCAR and seeing Jeff Gordon race for one of his last outings.”

Krasinski will be joined by Mark “Oz” Geist, Kris “Tanto” Paronto and John “Tig” Tiegen, three of the CIA annex security team members that fought off Islamic militants on Sept. 11, 2012, in Benghazi, Libya.
